Te Whakaora Tangata is dedicated to journeying alongside our highest risk whānau in Aotearoa to find hope, restoration and a brighter future – to give our next generation of people every opportunity to reach their full potential.
Our mission, process and programmes have all been developed with the primary goal of helping people, and then equipping them to help others.
How We Help
Our 3-Stage Cycle
Restore
To restore and empower our community, we first restore family relationships by addressing the root issues of past trauma
Resource
We then resource and equip parents and individuals with the tools needed to provide a safe, supportive environment for whānau to thrive.
Reconnect
To complete the 3-Stage cycle, we train our community in leadership and mentoring and then reconnect them with newly restored whānau to mentor in the future.
